About ABI

Aquatic Biologists, Inc. was founded in 1977. From the start Aquatic Biologists, Inc. has grown rapidly, from a handful of managed water bodies in the beginning, to managing over 3,000 lakes and ponds a year today. Aquatic Biologists, Inc. encourages our clients' to work with their natural surroundings. We often begin by discussing our clients' expectations, what the pond will be like in 1, 5, 10 and 25 years.

Today, Aquatic Biologists, Inc. is one of the oldest and most respected pond and lake management companies in the business. Unlike many other companies our territory biologists are degreed in aquatic biology, limnology, water chemistry and/or fish and game management.

Our commercial applicators are licensed, degreed, certified and insured. ABI's team of experienced and knowledgeable biologists utilize the latest techniques, products and tools to formulate practical management plans designed to improve and maintain healthy aquatic ecosystems for years to come. A key method for maintaining these resources in most cases is aeration along with aquatic plants, fish, bacteria and enzymes. By using these natural methods ABI can reduce and/or eliminate the use of algaecides and herbicides. In addition, we offer many unique products to aid in solving water related problems. (We ship most product orders within 48 hours with in the continental United States.)

ABI consults on most aspects of lake and pond management, from design to maintenance. It is one of the most important services that we provide. Aquatic Biologists, Inc. biologists are available by appointment for personal on-site inspection and consultation. Our clients include private pond owners, corporations, cities, parks, campgrounds, lake associations, golf courses and drinking water reservoirs.

We would like to express our thanks to all of our clients that have given us the opportunity to solve their lake and pond problems yesterday, today and in the future.
