Renovate® Max G is the first dual-action herbicide, combining
triclopyr and 2,4-D, for the ultimate broadleaf aquatic weed
control. This selective, systemic herbicide is formulated of
biodegradable granules, allowing for an immediate delivery of
Renovate® Max G to the desired control area.
Application rates depend upon the vegetation to be controlled.
Lastly, there is no fishing or swimming restrictions in treated
areas. As always, please read all instructions before applications.
Renovate® Max G is sold packaged in 40 lb plastic bags for product
protection and ease of handling.
Renovate Max G is formulated on biodegradable pellets to
immediately deliver the active ingredients down to the critical
areas for controlling target plants. Renovate Max G is quickly
absorbed out of the water through plant stems, foliage and roots.
Herbicidal symptoms are generally seen 2 - 14 days following
treatment. Full control is generally realized 2 - 4 weeks following
application but can take up to eight weeks depending on site
conditions and target plants.

Renovate Max G should be applied as early as possible
after weeds appear or when they are actively growing. Begin
application in spring as water temperature warms to 50º F and
above. Early treatment when growth first appears or begins to
create a nuisance. Early treatment will also reduce the amount of
dead plant material which should be removed or left to naturally
decompose allowing the nutrients within the dead plant material to
be released into the water column.
Heavy, out of control growth may require more than one
application or physical removal to gain control. For best results,
use under conditions of minimal water flow.
Treatment effectiveness depends on
density of vegetation and time of year at which the herbicide was
applied. In extreme cases multiple treatments per season of
Renovate 3 may be needed to adequately control vegetation
Do not use in water containing
Trout, Koi or hybrid Goldfish.
