Product Label MSDS Sheet

SePRO's Renovate OTF, is on a dust-free, odorless, easy-to-apply granule. Remove unwanted weeds along shorelines, dock, and swimming areas for one year or longer by spreading the granules over the weed infested areas. The granular formulation is effective at any water depth. Renovate OTF stays on target and eliminates unwanted lake weeds.

How It Works

The active ingredient in Renovate OTF, triclopyr, rapidly enters a plant through the leaves and stems, then translocates down into the roots, disrupting the plant's metabolism. Renovate OTF is a selective broadleaf herbicide that can be used to control a variety of nuisance and invasive aquatic plant species such as Eurasian Watermilfoil.

The Advantage

Renovate Max OTF's granular formation allows you to apply the product exactly where you want it with less chance for drift and dilution. While controlling unwanted exotics, Renovate OTF allows many native monocots, and less susceptible dicots, to thrive following treatment.

Application

Apply 2.5 to 5 pounds 1,000 square feet, using the higher rate where more weeds are present. Make three equal applications 8 to 12 hours apart.

For Best Results

Avoid disturbing the treated area for 24 hours after application. Apply when water is calm with minimal wave action. Don't forget, you will increase your success by splitting your total application rate into three equal treatments applied 8-12 hours apart.

Renovate Max G should be applied as early as possible after weeds appear or when they are actively growing. Begin application in spring as water temperature warms to 50ยบ F and above. Early treatment when growth first appears or begins to create a nuisance. Early treatment will also reduce the amount of dead plant material which should be removed or left to naturally decompose allowing the nutrients within the dead plant material to be released into the water column.

Heavy, out of control growth may require more than one application or physical removal to gain control. For best results, use under conditions of minimal water flow.

Notices

Treatment effectiveness depends on density of vegetation and time of year at which the herbicide was applied. In extreme cases multiple treatments per season of Renovate 3 may be needed to adequately control vegetation problems.

Do not use in water containing Trout, Koi or hybrid Goldfish.

*All pesticides can be harmful to health and the environment if misused. Read the label and follow directions. In addition ponds and lakes with overflows not contained on the property are required to obtain a WPDES permit. Illinois Residents are required to obtiain NPDES permits through the Illinois EPA.

In order to apply chemicals in liquid form within Wisconsin, the applicator must be licensed with the State.
