ABI's Bio Boost Enzyme 300 utilizes the latest in enzyme technology to clarify water and degrade organic material in lakes and ponds by activating the sediment layer and stimulating bacterial activity. It contains surface-activating agents, that allow the active ingredients to speed up nature's natural decomposition cycle.
Bio Boost Enzyme 300 works particularly well in ponds with filamentous algae problems. Bio Boost Enzyme 300 is very effective, when used as an adjuvant to an algaecide or herbicide*, at controlling algae in ponds do to it's specific blend of enzymes derived from eight diverse enzyme groups.
Dosage Rates
Bio Boost Enzyme 300 works best when water is 39° F or higher and properly aerated. While Bio Boost Enzyme 300 appreciates aeration, it is not required.
- Wear proper safety equipment including rubber gloves and eye protection when handling or applying Bio Boost Enzyme 300.
- Determine volume of lake/pond in acre-feet of water (1 acre-foot of water equals 1 surface acre or 43,560 square feet with an average depth of 1 foot, or 325,869 gallons).
- Determine amount of Bio Boost Enzyme 300 required using the chart below.
- Dilute determined amount a minimum of 1 part Bio Boost Enzyme 300 to 9 parts water.
- Disperse evenly using a clean sprayer or other appropriate method.
- Apply maintenance amount every two weeks after initial application.
