ABI Bio Boost Liquid Bacteria contains a highly-concentrated (10 billion CFU/gram) blend of microorganisms. For water temperatures above 55ºF., this product is great for lowering BOD (biological oxygen demand) and TSS (total suspended solids). On average customers who use our Bio Boost Liquid Bacteria during the spring and summer report a 30-60% improvement in water quality and water clarity.

• Bacteria produce the following enzymes:

• Amylase - break down starch                   

• Pectinase - break down pectin found in the cell walls of plants

• Ligninase - break down Lignans that strengthen the cell walls of plants

• Cellulase - cellulase breaks down cell wall fibers

• Keratinase - break down wool, hair, feathers, etc.

• Protease - breaks down proteins                               

• Lipase - lipase breaks down fats
