Cutrine®-Plus Granular is an algaecide especially formulated for the control of Chara, Nitella, and other bottom growing algae in potable water reservoirs, fire ponds, farm and fish ponds, golf course water hazards, lakes, and fish hatcheries.
Cutrine®-Plus Granular Algaecide is a clay-based formulation containing 3.7% absorbed chelated copper in a convenient clean, dry, granular form. Granules sink rapidly to the water bottom releasing the absorbed chelated copper and providing excellent control of chara and bottom-growing filamentous algae.
No waiting to swim or fish! Treated water may be used immediately to irrigate turf and ornamental plants.
60lbs per acre. Distribute evenly over the affected area by hand directly from the jug (wearing gloves) or spread with a manual or power fertilizer spreader. Available in easy to handle 12 lb. wide-mouth jugs with child resistant caps or durable 30lb. water-resistant bags with handle.
Always read an follow container label instructions. NOTE: Control of floating or suspended algae requires spray application of Cutrine®-Plus Liquid Algaecide for the most effective results.
