Bio Boost Polar Blend - Cold Water Bacteria contains a highly-concentrated blend of psychrophilic (cold-loving) microorganisms. For temperatures between 35-70 degrees. Available in 10 & 25 lb. pails
A specific blend of high-quality, naturally occurring bacteria designed to augment existing pond bacteria populations to enhance their ability to reduce nutrients and organic materials in lakes and ponds.
Bio Boost Cold Water Bacteria is great for lowering BOD (biological oxygen demand) and TSS (total suspended solids). On average customers who use our Bio Boost Cold Water Bacteria during the spring and fall report a 30-60% improvement in water quality and water clarity.
- Independently Lab Certified to Meet or Exceed a Concentration of 8 billion CFU/gram
- Contains 4-7 different gram-positive strains
- Short reproduction time (30 minutes)

Application Directions:
- Determine volume of lake/pond in acre-feet of water
- Determine amount of ABI Bio Boost Cold Water Bacteria required using the chart below
- Mix ABI Bio Boost Cold Water Bacteria in a pail with lake of pond water for easier dispersion. May also be mixed with ABI Bio Boost Enzymes and applied together
- Disperse ABI Bio Boost Cold Water Bacteria along the shoreline
- Apply maintenance treatment amount every two weeks after initial application
